EMPLOYEE VERIFICATION PROCESS

Create a case

  • Employee information entered into the Form I-9 during the on-boarding process is sent to the HRWC system via API.
  • The information is sent through E-Verify to compare the data with SSA and DHS.
  • If certain document types are presented by the employee, then Photo Matching and/or Driver’s License verification may occur.

Receive a case result

  • SSA and DHS will examine the data and produce one of six possible results.
  • The HRWC system will guide managers through the verification process to ensure cases are worked correctly.

Close and resolve the case

  • Each case must be closed in the HRWC system, and a manager will choose a resolution option so the E-Verify check is complete.
