If you’ve been paying attention to our 40th anniversary series, you might have noticed a trend developing: We can learn a lot from the past, but it’s clear the future is brighter than ever! And that’s due to unprecedented innovation designed to help you and your clients succeed.
This year has been nothing short of exhilarating as we’ve opened those time capsules of memories to tell our story—and, more importantly, yours! This is a story about your growth, which has been fueled by technological advances that have helped reshape the HR outsourcer (HRO) industry as we know it.
Things you probably couldn’t fathom possible a generation ago or maybe even 10 years ago are today catapulting the industry to new heights and unprecedented growth.

From Labubus to Bon Jovi and Rush announcing they’re ready to hit the road again next year to the upcoming release of the much-anticipated film Wicked: For Good, 2025 has had more than its fair share of developments.
And HROs got to see firsthand how much recent tech developments have changed the game.

This has truly been a golden era for HRO tech with unprecedented advancements for PrismHR platform capabilities, so here are some of the best innovations we’ve seen this year:
1. PrismHR TAX
Everyone loves doing their taxes, right? Yeah right! With PrismHR Tax, you and your clients get automated tax calculations and filings as well as comprehensive compliance management with minimum data entry thanks to improved integration and efficiency from this state-of-the-art new solution.
2. PrismHR HR Compliance
Compliance issues are costly. To help, in 2025, PrismHR introduced a simplified HR compliance tool with built-in legal intelligence to help your clients navigate complex labor laws with real-time alerts and an AI-powered chatbot with prescriptive guidance. Think of PrismHR HR Compliance as the peace-of-mind provider you and your clients have been waiting for.
3. PrismHR HCM
The new PrismHR HCM Dashboard offers everything from active client count to the total payroll amount and terminated employees by clients in one place to make tracking your business an easier part of your business. 4. Workforce Management
Workforce Management went totally chic in 2025 with a modernized User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) and updated design and timesheets. We also added a convenient Paid Time Off (PTO) Sync and Automated Job-Costing sync functionality.
5. Report Center
As we all know, Report Center advancements started ramping up a few years ago, but here are a couple of great innovations that took place in 2025—a new homepage and customizable dashboard with sorting, filtering and workbook assignment. Also, the Employee General Information Dashboard offers visual analytics on hiring, terminations, tenure and more. And this is just scratching the surface of all the great things our customers can do with Report Center.
6. Payroll & HR
Payroll and HR are your bread and butter, right? So adding a Payroll Variance Dashboard with a centralized view of payroll differences to reduce errors and a Marketplace Link for easier access to PrismHR integrations should be welcome additions.
7. Employee Portal
Lots of good things happened this year when it comes to Employee Portal. Here are just a couple: Manager Self-Service Enhancements and a Total Compensation View that includes retirement details in exportable form. And did we mention improved Single Sign On (SSO) Performance that’s up to 50% faster? Or that Embedded Reports give you direct access to dashboards from Report Center? We just did …
8. Benefits Administration
Whether it was adding Semiannual Retirement Eligibility, Retirement Loan Imports or Bulk Import for Benefit Determinants that is designed to reduce errors and save time, Benefits Administration saw a big boost in 2025.
9. Talent Management
You wanted In-App Hiring Notifications with real-time updates in the ATS, and you got ’em! Talent Management is already designed to provide an efficient hiring experience while improving engagement. The talent is off the charts!
10. ClientSpace
ClientSpace also got a UI refresh in 2025 with real-time benefit selections via the Application Programming Interface (API). Real-time alerts for Employee Certifications & Skills were also added. Isn’t it time you made a little space for ClientSpace?
