The Q1 2023 Release is scheduled to be deployed on the following Saturdays: 3/11, 3/18, 3/25. Each quarter we release new features and enhancements across the platform to help you operate more efficiently, improve the employee experience, and expand opportunities to deliver value to your clients.

Q1 Release Highlights

REPORT CENTER: Performance

PrismHR Data Warehouse: This major enhancement to Report Center replaces our existing database with proven, cutting-edge technology to increase performance, speed, stability and data accessibility.

EMPLOYEE PORTAL / ONBOARDING / BENEFITS ENROLLMENT: Employee Experience

Proxy Login: Proxy into an application as an employee and emulate what they see, providing a streamlined way to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

PAYROLL: Operational Efficiency

Mass Change Functionality: Make changes to multiple employees at once—rather than one-by-one—to streamline payroll processing and save time.

COMPLIANCE

California Pay Data Reporting Updates: Create reports to meet new compliance requirements, including median and mean salary data.

TALENT MANAGEMENT: Integrations

JobTarget Integration (Phase 2): Streamline your talent search by bulk creating requisitions through JobTarget as a recruiter through the Client Management Center (CMC).

Payroll & HR

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, Self-Service Functionality

Highlights

Mass Change Functionality: Make changes to multiple employees at once—rather than one-by-one—to streamline payroll processing and save time.

Self-Service Payroll Workflow Enhancement: Enable worksite managers to process payrolls while keeping safeguards in place that give service providers oversight over the payroll process.

Recording PTO Balances on Paystubs: Streamline your payroll check processing into one system and ensure state requirements are met with the ability to print PTO balances on payroll checks from an outside Time and Labor vendor through our API.

Employee Portal

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, Self-Service Functionality

Highlights

Custom Privacy Policy: The ability to customize privacy policy statements is now available, supporting the addition of California Consumer Privacy Act-specific verbiage.

Proxy Login: This highly-requested feature allows service providers to proxy into Employee Portal as an employee and emulate what they see, providing a streamlined way to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Manager Self-Service Experience Functionality: Managers can now approve I-9 Section 2 in order to expedite the new hire process and onboarding.

Onboarding & Benefits Enrollment

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, Self-Service Functionality, Employee Experience

Highlights

Proxy Login: This highly-requested feature allows service providers, trusted advisors, and managers to proxy into the system as an employee and emulate what they see, providing a streamlined way to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Entire/Remaining Balance Direct Deposit Option: Deliver a more intuitive employee experience with new system and client-level settings that enable you to customize direct deposit options so employees see only one option when setting up their direct deposit (Remaining Balance).

PDF Mapping for Position Title: If you include custom acknowledgements in your onboarding workflow specific to positions, you can now map the Position Title field to a custom form.

Benefits Administration

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, UI/UX

Highlights

Life Insurance Age Reduction Enhancements: Improve operational efficiency by auto-generating employee benefit enrollment detail records when coverage changes occur based on the life age reduction schedule. Additional enhancements ensure coverage never drops below the designated threshold with the Minimum Reduced Coverage field addition.

Style Selector: Search has become more intuitive with an improved UI/UX when selecting various employee benefit enrollment records.

Report Center

Highlights

PrismHR Data Warehouse: This major enhancement to Report Center replaces our existing database with proven, cutting-edge technology while enhancing the security and simplicity of data storage which will provide more flexibility and the ability to scale database storage to serve up your data in real time! You will see an increase in performance, speed, stability and data accessibility.

API

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, Performance and Stability

Highlights

API Versioning: The new API with endpoint versioning reduces the need to consistently keep up with supported API versions, saving you time and effort.

API Documentation: Documentation has been streamlined to ensure easy navigation, improved readability and simplified access to API requirements.

 

Talent Management

Q1 Focus: Operational Efficiency, Self-Service Functionality, Data Access

Highlights

JobTarget Integration (Phase 2): Streamline your talent search by bulk creating requisitions through JobTarget as a recruiter through the Client Management Center (CMC).

Appraisal by Position Redesign: Improve effiency while building appraisals by position with our redesigned and more intuitive process.

Offer Letter Enhancement: Provide candidates with a better overall hiring experience with an improved offer letter design and an auto-generated copy of the signed offer letter which is sent to the candidate and manager.

Performance Management Reports: Highly-requested new reports provide additional access to data to support your performance management process.

ClientSpace

Q1 Focus: Integrations

Highlights

Benefits Export API (March 2023 release): Save time and reduce dual entry by exporting client-level group plans (i.e., medical, dental, vision) from ClientSpace to PrismHR Benefits Administration.

ClientSpace API (additional data now available): You can now GET and POST the following ClientSpace data for utilization in third-party applications and data warehouses: Tasks, Time Tracker, File Versioning.

Compliance

Highlights

California Pay Data Reporting Updates: Create reports to meet new compliance requirements, including median and mean salary data.

Tax Reporting Enhancements: Reporting updates including W-3, RTS files, and WA quarterly file updates allows increased efficiency while remaining compliant.
