Focus Areas: Operational Efficiency, Compliance & Self-Service Functionality
The October 2026 Release is scheduled to be deployed on 10/22 and 10/23. Each month, we release new features and enhancements across the platform to help you compete, operate efficiently and expand opportunities to deliver value to your clients.
Check out recently delivered functionality and enhancements in the July 2026, August 2026 and September 2026 releases.
CIP Failures: Protect HSA contribution eligibility with a new Customer Identification Program (CIP) Failure field on the Employee Details form. When enabled by an administrator, enrollment messaging alerts users that the employee failed validation and employee and employer HSA contributions are paused until the field is disabled.
Managers Can Now View and Update Their Own Record: Empower managers to find themselves in My Employees, open their Employee Details and update employment information or complete HR actions on their own record. This is especially helpful for owners and managers who also serve as their company’s main administrator.
Payroll Reports in the Payroll Calculation Center: Review payroll with confidence by running batch-specific reports directly from the Calculation step. A new Reports tab provides descriptions and Setup & Run options for gross-to-net, allocations, variances and more before payroll submission.
Row and Column-Level Security Dashboard: Identify available datasets, determine which can be used to create and share workbooks with Worksite users, view datasets with restricted fields and understand where additional security rules apply.
OBBBA Qualified Tip & Overtime Register Build: Streamline 2026 W-2 and 1099 reporting by building qualified tip and overtime amounts from processed payroll vouchers. Run the build for all or selected employers, exclude specific clients and clear OBBBA registers without rebuilding when settings change.
2026 W-2 Updates: Strengthen OBBBA compliance by reporting Qualified Tips and Qualified Overtime in Box 12 using codes TP and TT. Report up to two TTO codes in the new Box 14b on the Update Employee W-2 and W-2c Forms. Updated 2026 W-2 Build and W-2 PDFs will be available in November.
Support for Obsolete Pay Groups: Expand pay group flexibility by allowing obsolete pay groups to be retrieved or updated.
Legal Announcements on the Home Page: Display enhanced legal announcements with employee thresholds and location-specific details directly on the Home page.
Widgets Throughout Dataforms: Embed charts, images and key reference information directly into the forms users work in. Admins can place widgets anywhere, organize them in collapsible sections and load them on demand, giving users helpful context without leaving the record.
AI-Drafted Discussion Replies: Generate faster, more consistent case replies with AI directly from the reply screen. Users can tailor the tone, length and language and select which case and thread details the AI uses to create accurate, on-brand responses.
Refine Comment: Elevate feedback quality with built-in coaching that helps contributors write clearer, more constructive comments. Users can choose the feedback type and language, while managers and administrators can also set the tone and keywords, review score-based suggestions and regenerate, edit or insert the final wording.
Time Tracking: Verify worker-submitted hours before payroll with a centralized view by pay period, engagement and hour type. Review weekly entries and total hours, correct and approve individual entries in one step or approve and decline in bulk. Search and export the complete approval history for added visibility.
