Mike Lockhart serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for PrismHR. He joined the company in 2026.
Mike leads the strategy, governance and operational execution of enterprise-level cybersecurity programs across a complex and rapidly evolving technology landscape. A detail-oriented information security executive with nearly three decades of experience, Mike has built his career at the intersection of technology innovation, risk management and business enablement. His professional journey spans devops, software engineering, security operations, penetration testing and at-scale architecture.
He has previously served as director of governance for Salesforce’s application programming interface (API) platform Mulesoft, and most recently as CISO for the world leader in SaaS delivery of aerial imagery. His vast cybersecurity experience gives him a unique perspective on securing a modern, HR-focused tech platform for PEOs, ASOs, Payroll Service Providers and their clients.
At PrismHR, Mike has developed and championed a security operating model built around four key pillars: minimum viable security, security maturity, cyber-risk management and external governance (legal, regulatory, etc).
When he’s not spending time with his family, you’ll find Mike either fly fishing or barbecuing. Mike and his family also maintain a lively collection of pets, including a dog, chickens, lizards and fish.
