Additionally the operations team continues to grow, with senior resources joining the team recently, and as such we’ve augmented our 24/7 operations response plan.
Improving PrismHR architecture, infrastructure and software is an ongoing effort to provide you with the most performant, scalable platform possible, and we will continue to share updates as we make ongoing enhancements.
Compliance
After a busy few months (see Product and Infrastructure Updates above), some major compliance topics driving the agenda for 2017 include:
Check and Check Stub Improvements
We have and will continue to release some individual items, such as the employer EIN displaying on Oregon stubs, and increasing formatting options to display both employer and client details. We will also be researching different ways to structure these changes to provide users with more flexibility.
EEO1 Reporting
PrismHR has committed to making the necessary adjustments to support the EEOC’s new reporting requirements which must be electronically filed in the first quarter of 2017.
SBEA Functionality
Baseline functionality was released in December. We continue to investigate and work towards the changes necessary to support Schedule R filings as well as correction and import tools.
ACA
Further ACA development will be on hold until we get more clarity around the changing landscape. However, we are happy to discuss your experience this year while it is still fresh, so that, if necessary, we can make appropriate adjustments for next year.
Questions and Suggestions
We strongly encourage an open dialogue on any compliance related topic, big or small. If you have any suggestions, concerns, feedback, or alerts to forthcoming changes that impact you, please contact Chris Babigian at cpbabigian@prismhr.com or let us know here.

Releases and Roadmap*
Updated Product Release Strategy for 2017
Based on your feedback, the PrismHR product release strategy has been improved. We continue to have one major release per quarter, and in addition to bi-weekly reporting updates every two weeks, we are now including maintenance updates in those bi-weekly updates. That includes high priority fixes, CPRs and compliance requirements. The goal for those bi-weekly updates is to ensure that those improvements can be deployed, whenever possible, without any downtime.
Roadmap
The team continues to focus on improving your overall experience, with ongoing improvements for reporting, as well as bringing more HRPyramid and Apex capabilities to PrismHR Payroll, Benefits and HR. Improving the next generation of Benefits Enrollment is an ongoing priority and planning work continues for next generation Onboarding. Work to extend the API platform continues with a greater focus on documentation to better empower our customers and partners.
We are also continuously working on overall infrastructure, scalability and security as well on ongoing compliance, along with an all new user experience for employee self service.
